It's a snowy day out there today, school has been canceled and the kiddos are taking advantage and sleeping in. Pretty quiet and relaxing over here after a busy weekend and Monday!
Here's a few updates from my art studio:
Open Studio RecapSaturday was the first time I've opened up my studio to others for some creative time. We had a bevy of fabulous makers attend and create all sorts of wonderful handmade items. From watercolors to crochet, we all enjoyed each other's company, shared laughs, stories and snacks as we worked on our projects. It was great fun that we will surely have to plan again!

I'm also excited to announce the launch of my NEW ONLINE ART CLUB MEMBERSHIP!
This is an exciting opportunity for creative friends that aren't local to my studio, but still would like to participate in imaginative and creative art projects, chats, digital downloads and even artful treats that you receive in the good ol' mail!

“Create your own sunshine” Hello, Creative Friend! How's your week going? It's been another crazy one here for me and the family. With all the back to school activities, sports games and practices, art classes and preparing for this weekend's open studios, I'm a bit frazzled with all that still needs to get done! Happy Monday after Mother's Day! How was your weekend? Did you celebrate your mom in a special way? My mom has been gone almost 4 years, and I miss her every day. So Mother's Day can be a little bit sad for me, but it is also very special because my little ones (that aren't so little) made cards and gifts and we enjoyed a lovely dinner out together.
